What if those complementary elements can be useful to you in your own pursuits and how you use AI. This TL;DR hopefully serves that purpose.

I went to Claude, by Anthropic, and asked - “can you create a interactive map of the sequence in which different themes of predictions and impact appear in this article: https://www.generationshence.com/p/superimposed-possibilities.”

Nothing elaborate.

It’s first output was impressive enough. The TL;DR versions I will share here might take different forms. Sometimes, it may be an AI generated video, an interactive map or visual, or even a 100-200 word AI produced summary.

You are encouraged to use AI to produce a summarization variant of your preference. I honestly expect it given how our busy lives tend to be.

Still, I want you to consider a view that is integral to the purpose of this publication. The least of my concerns when I will be drafting each edition is to be informative. That is the bare minimum I wish to do. There are other publications that serve that goal better than I ever could. I consider being informative as simply table stakes, as they say in poker. I strive for the writing in this publication to evoke a holistic image of AI and its predicted and actual impact on us, those close to us, and those with whom our paths may never cross.

A GenAI summary, whatever shape and form it takes, likely won't accomplish that purpose. If you do come up with a way for GenAI to do that then I would be grateful if you can share with me and the larger audience of this publication so we can learn together. Also, it would be the extra nudge I can use to do better!

This is an experiment and we will see as and when this section ceases to serve the larger purpose of this publication or surprisingly adds more value to it.

Subscribe to receive future editions as well as additional commentary about the Why, What, Who, and How of this publication.

Share this publication with readers who think across disciplines - those who see technology, history, and culture as interconnected forces rather than isolated domains.

Share Generations Hence
